The Little Grass Shack
Episode 401:

It’s the beginning of a brand new project, this time in Manoa, a valley rich in culture. James explores the history dating back to it’s original settlement by ancient Hawaiians and up thru today’s modern Manoa.

Then it’s over to the project site to meet up with Jim Byxbee of Homeworks construction for a tour of the existing home. The problems are plentiful for this 1950’s 3/1 home, not to mention the fact that it is situated on the edge of a landslide.

Later, James heads back to the site following demolition and catches up with project manager, Marc Dawson of Homeworks Construction. We learn about some of the particulars of tearing down a house and get a hint at the extensive amount of foundation work that is to come.
